Vintage suitcases

This color combination is calming and makes me think of nature.  It was a perfect choice for a dear friend's farewell party as she starts a new journey in Africa.  The weather was perfect for this outdoor celebration.  The lanterns on the tables were practical because they served as decoration pieces as well as lighting when it got dark.  The burlap in its simplicity added a sort of elegance that seemed effortless.  And what about that delicious dessert table?  We placed the cake on top of the vintage suitcases to give it height.  We made sure to incorporate the color white so it would soften our "earthy" look.

What little girl doesn't love Minnie Mouse?  This theme is perfect for an outdoor party.  We added a pink bow to the "Minnie" cupcake toppers to make them stand out.  The highlight for the kids was the dessert/candy bar.  We added a framed picture of the birthday girl with Minnie along with a "Thank-you" sign near the party favors.  This theme was fun and inexpensive to put together.  The smallest detail could make a world of difference.
