Farewell Party

Simple Table Setting

Burlap goes a long way

Dessert and Favors Table

As part of the "Journey" theme, each guest received a personalized luggage tag.

Vintage suitcases

This color combination is calming and makes me think of nature.  It was a perfect choice for a dear friend's farewell party as she starts a new journey in Africa.  The weather was perfect for this outdoor celebration.  The lanterns on the tables were practical because they served as decoration pieces as well as lighting when it got dark.  The burlap in its simplicity added a sort of elegance that seemed effortless.  And what about that delicious dessert table?  We placed the cake on top of the vintage suitcases to give it height.  We made sure to incorporate the color white so it would soften our "earthy" look.

"Minnie" Cupcakes

"Minnie" Candy Bar

Face painting

What little girl doesn't love Minnie Mouse?  This theme is perfect for an outdoor party.  We added a pink bow to the "Minnie" cupcake toppers to make them stand out.  The highlight for the kids was the dessert/candy bar.  We added a framed picture of the birthday girl with Minnie along with a "Thank-you" sign near the party favors.  This theme was fun and inexpensive to put together.  The smallest detail could make a world of difference.

Happy Holidays!

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season.  Have a prosperous and healthy 2012.  Many blessings to you and your family.

Under the "Sea-Horse"

We added a pearl to the favor tags.

This beautiful pink "Under the Sea" party theme is perfect for your girly girl. The theme is very popular, so we made it different from the other typical "Under the Sea" parties we usually see.  We decided to use a seahorse as part of the decoration as opposed to the other commonly used sea animals.  We used the seahorse for the cupcake toppers, the bottle labels, as well as the favors. As favors, we made sour pouches and added a pearl to each tag.  Adding several lit candles and seashells on the table really softened the room.

Thanksgiving 2011

We used the free printables from Beth Proudfoot on the little favor bags. Simple, yet beautiful table setting.

We place the eating utensils and napkin in a kraft paper bag and tied a piece of twine around it.

Sponge the edge of your tag and add a brad to add color and shimmer to the favor bags.                         Love this Subway art from Beth Proudfoot ♥

We are thankful for so many reasons, but most of all we are thankful for the love and support of our family and friends.  We are truly blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives.  This Thanksgiving, be thankful for the small things that make a big difference in your life.  Be blessed. XOXO
